The development team at Kawasaki have stripped the fuel injected motor down and redesigned it with particular characteristics of this new “performance cruiser”. With massive 40mm throttle bodies, the new fuel injection system has provided a satisfying boost in performance.

Valve sizes have increased too and so has the valve timing transforming the nature of the machine encouraging riders to rev the motor freely and enjoy its responsive nature. Kawasaki have pitched Mean Streak at a new style of rider. Someone who is an experienced motorcyclist and has an understanding of the factors that make a bike special.
